*1983 in Frankfurt am Main, living and working in Graz, Austria is a musician, wordsmith, curator, culture worker and popculture/new media-trash enthusiast, who can hit the drums hard (if he hast to!). He does so in the current projects WZ (2016), kreHm (2017), Corn (2017), bitfuck (2018) and AIGA (2023) as well as various other collaborations and improvisational ensembles which have led him to share stages with namedroppable acts like MERZBOW, BATTLES, ZU, FRED FRITH, STIAN WESTERHUS, OTTO VON SCHIRACH, RHYS CHATHAM, DIETER, DIETER GLAWISCHNIG, EWALD OBERLEITNER, PHIL MINTON, RADIAN and many others... Until recently he was hosting, curating and performing at several ongoing series of events in the cultural institutions FORUM STADTPARK GRAZ and ELEVATE and is founder of the GIK - GRAZER IMPRO KLUB, a platform with the main goal of solidizing and further establishing a local and regional improvisational music scene, as well as propagating a low-threshold approach towards the implementation of art in daily life. He is also sometimes asked to write about people and music for nerdy journalistic outlets like FREISTIL MAGAZIN, MICA, ROKKOS ADVENTURES, CONCERTO, ARTfaces and such. Maybe he has reviewed YOUR album? Who knows? Good icebreakers for starting a conversation include space, scifi-dystopia, videogame music (below 16bit!) and memes.
